Cosabella has the inside scoop on what our designers swear will be the biggest Fall trends of 2017

Like our Fall 2017 collection, the trends for the season will be bold and unapologetic. Even basic staples are meant to make statements this Fall. From sleepwear to shapewear; textured fabric, in-your-face prints, and take charge silhouettes will be the hottest looks on the fashion scene.

Trend 1: Velvet

Spotlight Bodysuit

Texture and feeling are very important for Fall 17. We are using burnout velvet in a group called Spotlight with gorgeous lounge to nightwear pieces in must have silhouettes of the season. Luxe also uses velvet mixed with a Never Say Never lace trim for a flirty sleep/lounge group that’s a sweeter take on velvet.

Trend 2: 70’s Style Prints

Prints for Fall have a very easy and wearable feeling with a touch of 70’s inspiration in mini-florals, oversized stripes, menswear inspired tie prints. As pajamas become more important, we have re-designed our classic Bella PJs to have a more trend forward look and flattering fit that will come in print as well as solid with contrast details.

 Trend 3: Ambiguous Outerwear

Is it lingerie? Is it sleepwear? Fall expands with two very important groups that flirt between innerwear and outwear. Pret-a-Porter is an allover lace group with a very dimensional look and feel. The group is complete with pieces to wear in and out that are fully lined. Verona is a mesh based group, trimmed with soft Italian microfiber that gives a modern and sporty look to the season. Trend 4: Rich seasonal colors of deep, bright jewel tones

Our Fall 2017 collection is a great mix of must have basics and directional fashion essentials. Basic colors of Black, Canvas, and Mandorla ground the collection while seasonal colors like Sable, Espresso, Brick Red and Jasper provide trend-forward newness to the season.

Trend #5: Sleepwear as Ready-To-Wear

Silky pajamas are no longer just for bedtime. Pair a billow pajama top with some sharp bottoms for a fun play on contrasting textures and an unexpected fashion statement. Our silk pajama collection, Paige, has the perfect pajama top to try out this look with.

 Trend #6: Textured Bustiers & Bodysuits

Using a foil print in a snake skin pattern, crushed velvet, sheer flocked mesh, and a shadow stripe to make up the fashion forward and eclectic group, the mass no miss of excitement here.
