Paul & Joe X Cosabella for Fall 2016 is inspired by the chic and elegant ambiance of the alpine resort town of St. Moritz in the 1960’s and 1970’s. The collection reflects the warmth and coziness of a wood chalet with a touch of sportiness drawing inspiration from the ski garments worn on the slopes.
The white of the snow and a hint of green from the trees are translated into Brigitte and the Juliette colorway Bleached Sand/ Rifle Green. The dark blue of the night time mountain skies inspired the Penelope, Jeanne Printed, Chantal, Margaux Printed collections as the primary colorway Navy Blue. The stunning winter florals of the reds and blues found in far mountain scenery are conveyed in Charlotte Printed and Isabella Printed.
The rustic charm of this season’s collection is is translated into a range of styles that vary between playful and seductive. Each grouping capturing a different emotion, a different personality, a different story.
