What could be cozier than a weekend spent in the new Curvy chemise? Delaney from The Style Seed gives us some great ideas on how to spend a rainy weekend at home in her Curvy Chemise.
Even though I live in California, not every day is sunny. And I’m okay with that. I have always had a special love for stormy weather. It reminds me of the awe-inspiring power of nature and the universe, and that’s quite magical. Anyways, today I’m going to share with you a few of my favorite rainy day activities. I’ve also teamed up with Cosabella to share the perfect cozy outfit to rock while you’re enjoying all of these activities!
Cozy Up With A Good Book
This is honestly one of my favorite things to do whether it’s raining or not. If you don’t already know reading is basically my #1 hobby. And when it’s storming outside there’s almost nothing more appealing to me than breaking into a new book and getting lost in the pages. It’s the perfect time to get some quality reading done. I usually get cozy, light a candle, play some jazz music and dive into the rabbit hole of a good book!
Movie Time!
I think we all know by now that everyone loves a good movie day when it’s rainy out. I like to build a comfy setup on my bed, like a little movie theatre made out of pillows and blankets. Add in some tasty snacks and your comfiest outfit and you’re set for the day!
Build A Fort
Taking it way back to your childhood with this one and encouraging you to build a fort! How fun right?Growing up I always thought I was one of the boys. I would tag along with my older brother and all of the neighborhood boys and we would build forts out in the sage brush. Fort building has a special place in my heart, not only is it fun but its also nostalgic! So gather your favorite cozy, cute, indoor pieces and pile them together to create a cute little hangout spot for the day!
Break out the Board Games
Rainy days are the perfect time to do some quality bonding with your friends, family, and loved ones. And what better way to bond then to play a card game or board game? I live with my boyfriend so naturally, he’s my card game partner but it would be just as fun to play with a roommate, family member, or friend. Whether you’re playing Go Fish or Monopoly it’s a great way to kill some time and laugh the day away with someone special.
