Here at Cosabella, we aim to create pieces that make every woman feel sexy and confident in each moment of her life. In celebration of Mother’s Day we asked new moms to discuss their journey into motherhood and dispense inspiring words for moms-to-be around the world.

How has Motherhood changed you?
Over the past 15 months, motherhood has made me slow down and enjoy all the small moments. I used to be go, go, go but now some of my most favorite moments are those spent at home, snuggling with William, playing in his room and seeing him grow into a little boy.
What makes you a Mommie Bella?
I’ve been wearing Cosabella for years and every step of the way into motherhood. From pre-pregnancy pajamas to nursing bras and camis and sleepwear, Cosabella has been my choice. The quality of Cosabella is important to me, along with the fact that it’s a family-owned company. But most importantly, everything is so soft and beautiful!

How has Motherhood changed you?
“Sleeping in, eating breakfast uninterrupted, and making my way to the gym. That was my typical morning before having Marloe. Some days I look back and miss those carefree mornings….only having to worry about my needs and wants. But mostly now, I wake up happier, my heart is full, and my life truly has more purpose. I may have to wake up at the crack of dawn, share spilled Cheerios, and do my workouts at home with Marloe crawling all over me….but I really wouldn’t have it any other way. I know these moments won’t last forever, and I don’t want to miss a thing or spend time daydreaming about life before this little girl entered into it.”
What makes you a Mommie Bella?
“After giving birth to Marloe, I felt this overwhelming joy. But also, I had just had a baby….so I felt uncomfortable and unsure of what was ahead. I packed some Cosabella maternity/nursing bras in my hospital bag, and put them on a few days after we got home from the hospital. Not only did I feel beautiful in them, but they made nursing so much easier while wearing a comfortable bra! Since then, I have purchased many more, and plan on having them for every baby. The quality is amazing, and unsurpassed by other similar brands!”

How has Motherhood changed you?
“I think that one of the greatest challenges and joys of motherhood is constantly modeling for my children how to love; how to love one another, love our community, and love ourselves. I hope that through the chaos of having three children under five, navigating that elusive work-life balance, and constantly learning as we go, they’ll always know the importance of kindness and love. If they grow to understand that, well then I’ll feel like I’ve done my job well.”
What makes you a Mommie Bella?
“I never thought of myself as a “lingerie” type of gal who fussed over lace and fancy underthings. But when I became pregnant I learned to appreciate and admire my body in a way that I’d never known and began to understand the joy in treating yourself to beautiful lingerie. With Cosabella I found a brand that not only made me feel absolutely beautiful and sexy but was so comfortable that I wanted to wear it every day.”
About Belle:
