We are having a major red head moment here at Cosabella.
Inspired by the fiery locks of our Fall 2017 campaign model, Clara McSweeney, it was love at first sight when we met with NYC model, Valeria Leonova.
Rocking Cosabella bralettes and bodysuits all summer as the weather continues to heat up in NYC, we took ten minutes to check in with Valeria to chat about all things NYC for the summer <3
So your home base is New York City. What’s your favorite neighborhood and why?
Fort Green. I have always loved West Village and now I found one in Brooklyn.
Favorite New York beach to visit in the summer?
Definitely Fort Tilden. Less crowded and less police than Rockaway. Your cell service might not work there so travel together.
Who would you consider your style icon?
Currently, I must say it’s Instagram!
Your must-have item for the season?
Aperol Spritz.
How would you describe your personal style?
White t-shirt + black silk dress + sneakers during the day vs. same dress + booties + belt + leather jacket + red lip at night. Practical & reversible, haha
Three things you cannot leave your apartment without?
Headphones, portable charger, my head.
Music is always inspiring. Who do you have in rotation on your playlist?
Cold Little Heart by Michael Kiwanuka
What’s your go to spot for brunch in NYC?
Fat Radish, Souvlaki GR, or discovering new spots in Brooklyn.
What do you see as the next big fashion trend?
Raincoats? Clear or colored, pattern or solid. I just got two for myself. Fingers crossed! Also purple color.
Thumbs up or thumbs down to the Matcha Tea trend?
I like the iced version of Matcha Tea that sweetened, reminds me of green tea milkshake heaven. Thumbs up!
NYC staycation: which hotel would you stay at?
Bowery Hotel, Gramercy Park Hotel, Crosby Street Hotel or Public Hotel, Beeckman Hotel and The William Vale. Basically, it depends on what occasion are you visiting and what neighborhood do you want to destroy.
